为避免主控芯片与电梯控制器和MODEM同时进行通讯造成相互干扰,采用双串口单片机作为前端机的主控芯片,采集电梯运行的状态、故障和现场设备状态等信号,同时与集成在前端机上的MODEM进行串行通讯,通过公共电话网与服务器连接,实现电梯故障远程报警、运行状态信息记录和服务器主动呼叫查询等功能；模拟运行结果表明,该系统能实时有效地对电梯进行远程监控；采用双串口单片机,不仅解决了通讯干扰的问题,也大幅度地节省了开发费用与装配空间。
