In this paper, three kinds of organic ink absorbents which werepoly(vinyl alcohol) modified by acryl amide, poly(vinyl alcohol)modified by crylic acid and poly(vinyl alcohol) by acryl amide and crylicacid and one kind of inorganic ink absorbent which was silica weresynthesized, and the effects of the coating layer on ink absorption rateand definition were studied.
