This paper presents an overview of the detergent industry in the world, especially in America, European and Latin America, focusing on the trends and challenges of detergent powder, liquid detergent and some key ingredients, such as enzymes, bleaching system in the 21st century worldwide,pointing out the importance of innovation,far-seeing and suastainability in the area.
